Sorry guys not been on here in a good while - have either been in remote places with not even a fone signal or basically just having too much fun!!
i have just come back from steve irwins zoo - amazing I went into the hospital set up by his mum and saw all the orphaned koalas and an operation on one of the nurses dogs! Also poor buff was in there he had serious cystitus and a touch of conjunctivitus he was asleep and I gave him a calming cuddle but they are not sure if he will make it although if he does the lady will email me to let me know but I asked her not to if he didnt sob sob!
I have completed my 3 day canoing and camping in Noosa trip was great first night stopped on a bush camp and then the next night just on the floor of a tent on a mat no sheet or anything then the 3rd night we took our tent on the canoe and the stove etc and we camped near a beach and walked to a historic pub the 2nd oldest in Oz from the mining days there was live music so we hit the dance floor to the dissapointment of the locals hehe!
Before that I had Fraser Island again camping ha beautiful island pure white sand and dif cols in dif areas. Pure lakes to swim in truely gorgeous.
Next I go to my show in Syd opera house then to Tazmania!!! Then back to England....can anyone advise me what factor to use in the uk brrrrr!!!!xxx

Hi Guys in Byron bay now been to a great hippy market today was massive. Loads of different music and the amazing druming monkeys 2 guys as puppets bongoing very funny think its meant for kids really. I have seen the railway bar wendy still looks like the place to be. i went to the beach hotel bar today they had a regae band on really good and got a famous kebab haha opposite the Northern - I was advised they are not like UK ones ha! Flying into Byron is like flying over the English country side very strange and then when you drive to Byron you turn a corner and the beach is amazing tonnes of surf hence the surfing scene. I have booked to go to Nimbin tomorrow then the Crystal castle day aft then its my last night in this hostel but may see if I can get another one in Byron as like it here. My hostel is great it has a spa but a bit expensive and a huge cinema!!! they have tee pees round the lake but I cant get one as sleeps 2. i am staying in the Nunnery which is good just 6 girls over 2 rooms we have our own kitchen and bathroom only thing is girls are great but they go to bed about 9.15 so I went to the cinema last night and came on here tonight - need to inject some life into them. They have hammocks every where here but I darest get in them in case I fall out in front of everyone ha! The swimming pool looks good so getting in there tomorrow but am worried as my love of pies might leave me being mistaken as an inflatable toy haha!! Anyhoo will update on nimbin Bye xx

Happy New Year to everyone. Fireworks were amazing and I got right nexty to the bridge so excellent spot. was all over so quick in fact a lot quicker than the walk home - right across the bridge - well said I wanted to walk the bridge wasnt quite planning on it being the first thinkg I did once 2009 came - then all the way up George St and believe me this must be the longest street on the planet. Once I got back at 3.30am I was completely done in so landed straight in bed!
I am leaving Sydney tomorrow and flying to Byron Bay staying in Arts for 4 nights they have a swimming pool so hope the weather is good as it is turning here and I have managed to lose my hooded top and realised today also my cardigan so am sat here shivering on the net as have no others left now - will go shopping now I think. Must make mental note when out and drunk tie all belongings round waist no matter how silly it looks!
Anyhow last night in Sydney tonight so will make the most of it. Will update at Byron - sorry these updates are few and far between will get on top of it soon!!

JUst a quick hello in an internet cafe and the time is ticking away. The rain has cleared today. Went to the pics last night to see Australia really good film - cant believe I have been to the pics 2 days running - thats some rain!
Going to go to Kangaroo island next and the great oceam road just deciding whether to do a trip or organise myself as a big difference in price as flights are quite cheap out here. Ive been told not to go to Tasmania as the weather is worse there so I will take that warning. Might walk into Melbourne today and see the sights as havent ventured in the rain. Carrie can you facebook me your address pls so I can send you a postcard. Went to market on sea front this morning got a little present for mum and dad will send soon. Best get off my mins are nearly up xxxx

Hello to my 2 subscribers hehe dad and Carrie - yes seriously dont think anyone else can crack getting on to here.
Anyhow this is my 2nd day in Melbourne it started off sunny and now it has done nothing but rain. met up with lindsay from Grimsby last night had a good night and my first glimpse of melbourne night life although was brief as had to dash back for my train then tram. Went to Hippy market when first got here on Thursday was great lots of music crafts food and vintage bits got some shoes and a Thai parrosol to keep the cough cough sun off but it seems to have tempted the rain although is not strong enough umbrella for that!
im going to go and watch shallow hal now the hostel have put it on - the hostel is great!
Will get me photos on next time of Sydney.
Sydney is great think i prefer it so far xxx
